Anniversary Weekend 10-3-14

First weekend away without the little guy, while we both missed him it was nice to get away just the two of us.  We had amazing weather in Eagle for some bike riding and the stay in Beaver Creek was quite nice.

Riding off into the distance.  Yep that's snow you see

Durf taking the "optional" route

We only saw a handful of people.  Just a fantastic day.

All smiles from my lovely wife
Where the bike belongs after a day on the trail
Finished the day off back at the condo sipping on a bottle of Chianti we brought back from our honeymoon.  It's quite delicious.

White Rim Part Deux

My job as photographer slowed down once Larson and I picked up an injured motorcyclist and took him to the waiting ambulance.  Needless to say the cyclist didn't need our assistance even though the sky opened up for what seemed like the 100 year storm. Without further adieu more pics...

 Dusty?
Calm before the storm.  It hailed on us, after everyone had lunch so that was good.

If you squint you can see riders in the distance
He who has the camera takes the pictures

 View from camp.
Morning rain or was it evening rain

Do you see the river?  Well the riders pretty much climbed from down there
